Breath is an anchor, a vehicle, a springboard. Breath is the glue that keeps us in our bodies & connects us deeply to those around us. Erotic Breathwork is one way of deepening the connection with your erotic energy. Having a strong connection with your erotic energy can help enhance your creativity, deepen your mindfulness, integrate your spirituality & sexuality, strengthen your intimacy with your partner(s), and ultimately help you lead a more joyous life.
In these 4 sessions, we will delve into Erotic Breathwork: a meld of rebirthing, Taoist, & Tantric Breathwork techniques. We will go over chakras & energy systems. We will also practice a variety of partnered breathing positions that use your hands & chakra points. All partnered breathing is negotiated. You do not need to bring a partner with you. These techniques are easy to learn and can be adapted for many body types, situations & intentions.
Please wear comfortable, loose clothing. There will be no nudity or sexual activities in this workshop.

Accessibility info: Event location is in East Oakland, 2 blocks from a major busline, or about a 15-minute walk from the nearest BART, and has free on-street parking. It is in a private live/work loft in a residential building on the 1st floor. There is a first-floor bathroom through the courtyard, and another bathroom up one flight of stairs.
There is a dog that lives in the building, but will not be in the space during the event & the space is thoroughly cleaned prior.
The space is low-fragrance, & I encourage folx to arrive low or no-scent so that it's more accessible to more people.

Please note that this event centers Queer Women of Color (meaning that the lives, experiences, and desires of queer women are centered & that cisheteronormativity is not considered "the standard experience"). However, all women of color bodies are welcome in this space: trans bodies, thin bodies, queer bodies, old bodies, disabled bodies,cis bodies, intersex bodies, gender non-conforming bodies, queer currently-abled bodies, fat bodies, young bodies, bodies of any class, religion, spiritual tradition. While there's no way to guarantee that all bodies are represented, it is my intention to have a diverse & welcoming space—so if you have problems being in community with any of the aforementioned bodies, this is not the right event for you.
